CSWoods is a second-generation family business. We have been collecting specialty wood from around the world for over 50 years. Kent Mace, owner and woodworker, has spent the last 30 years crafting furniture and architectural work for discriminating wood lovers, and has a unique knowledge of wood from tree to finished piece.
Our primary warehouse and drying facility is located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Southern Colorado. This location is optimal for the air-drying and preservation of wood. We also have a showroom in Carbondale, Colorado which offers a look at the material we cary and is a great place to pick up small amounts of lumber, wide & thick planks, and mantels. Customers are welcome to visit us at either location and can find information on directions through the Visit link at the top of the page.
Every board in our carefully acquired inventory has been hand-selected for its particular qualities. Our extended family of sawyers, collectors and woodsmen provides us with access to particularly hard to find pieces, and also gives us the opportunity to locate just the piece you are looking for. Special orders are our specialty.
